Organizational Changes:
Thank you Jim Rios!

Jim Rios, who has served as our Director of Ministry since 2011 and has run the True North Landscaping ministry/business, is moving on to new ventures in the private sector. Jim did an amazing job of balancing the demands of the landscaping ministry for 9 months of the year, while keeping up with
training, overseeing our mentoring program, leading our teams of ministry volunteers in the detention facilities, leading special projects like True North Discipleship House, doing development work such as speaking at churches and local small groups, and overseeing our annual Christmas Wise Guy Bag initiative. While we will miss having Jim lead these ministries, the good news is that Jim has decided to join our Board and will continue to work as a volunteer. Thank you, Jim for all you’ve done for True North, and we look forward to all the Lord is going to continue to do through you as a Board member and volunteer!

Thank you Pat Keating!

Pat Keating has served as our Chairman for the past 10 years. Pat led our Board meetings with tremendous skill, Godly wisdom, and enjoyable wit. Thank you for your outstanding service and support!

OUR MISSION
Since 2002, True North Ministry has liberated imprisoned youth who not only are confined behind bars but who have also been confined by their life’s circumstances. We focus on the young men and women incarcerated in or paroled through the State and County correctional facilities. Currently, over 150 volunteers disciple and equip imprisoned youth with Christian-based programming. We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
