The youth from Cuyahoga Hills and Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facilities are brought to our farm in Green Ohio for the day. The day starts with Bible study and then they learn to do various tasks around the farm. They have the opportunity to learn carpentry, small engine and automotive repair, animal husbandry and more. They also get to use the riding mowers in the summer and keep the grounds looking nice. It’s also a good break for them to get away from the daily grind at the facility and do some thinking and hopefully soul searching. True North volunteers work alongside the youth and are there to give spiritual guidance and solid advice.
