During a recent Sunday morning outreach at Dan Street, volunteer Jim Love reported the following: After praying together as a group, our volunteer team split up into three groups. I volunteered to meet with four youth who had been remanded downstairs in individual rooms. Each youth wanted to meet with me for prayer. The guard allowed the youth to leave their individual room and meet with me in the hall way. We sat down on the floor together and read through and discussed the Lord’s teaching on prayer in Luke 11:1-13. Afterwards, one young man indicated he wanted to begin a relationship with Christ and bowed in prayer confessing Christ as his Lord and Savior. We all prayed the Lord’s prayer together and prayed for individual needs of each of the youth. It was a great time together and each youth was motivated to dig further into Jesus’ teaching on prayer from the book of Luke.
